Refund policy

We want you to love your jewelry. But we also believe in being transparent about how we keep prices low for everyone.


Because FJD offers factory-direct pricing without retail markups, we’re not able to absorb the cost of unlimited returns like traditional brands do. Instead, we offer a fair, honest policy designed to protect both our members and our pricing model.

Return Eligibility

  •  Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your item.
  • Items must be unworn, unused, in original packaging, and with all tags intact.
  • Returns must be approved before shipping; items sent without approval will not be accepted.
  • A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply, depending on the policies of our partner factories.

To initiate a return, email us at founders@shopfjd.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, we’ll send you a return label and detailed instructions.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

We’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds on custom jewelry, engraved items, or made-to-order pieces such as engagement rings. These pieces are crafted just for you, and priced accordingly.

Manufacturing Defects

If your piece arrives with a defect, we’ll make it right.

  • FJD will cover shipping both ways and the full cost of repair.
  • Defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
  • Please email founders@shopfjd.com with clear images for an initial review.
  • Final determination will be made by our jewelers upon receiving the item.

Resizing & Repairs

Need a ring resized or a chain fixed? We’ve got you.

  • Members pay only the direct cost of service, with no markup.
  • You’ll cover shipping both ways, and we’ll pass through the repair or resizing charge
    from our factory.
  • Email us for a quote or guidance before sending anything back.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow time for your bank to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at founders@shopfjd.com.

EU Customers

If your order is shipped to the EU, you’re entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. You may cancel or return your order for any reason within 14 days of receipt. As with all returns, the item must be in its original condition and packaging.
